Biogas technology

Since 1990, HGC is engaged in acquisition and utilization of landfill gases as well as pollution control and the fermentation of organic waste. In this area HGC operates various customer systems within the scope of service contracts. Based on this experience HGC 2007 planned the first biogas plant with biogas upgrading and feeding into the natural gas grid. Many other plants followed until the amendment of the EEG 2014th.

Besides these activities, a variety of biogas transport systems for the collection of biogas and use in satellite CHP were planned and fulfilled by HGC.

Currently the focus of activities in biogas technology is the optimization, expansion and renovation of existing facilities in the areas of gas detection systems, plant engineering, automation and reliability.
